the new trend of a disturbing habit

This particular thing has been started just a few years back. initially we could see it in the lavish malls but now even the roadside Darshinis of Bangalore have started doing it. I am talking about the new trend of "keeping the prepared food wrapped in the wrap plastic for display".

Yes. exactly. The  what an absolutely rubbish concept picked from somewhere and is spreading ! Couple of times i tried to speak to the hotel owners as to why would they display cooked food and later throw it away, they don't have solid answer. they say "idu trend madam ellaru idtaare" ( this is a trend madam, everybody keeps it).

Mankind has picked up a bad habit of measuring everything in terms of money. We hunt for the courses that can earn us high paid jobs, we throw away anything and everything that is cheap regardless of what impact it can have on the environment. The food is not seen as food, rather seen as a decorative object of Rs.50 or whatever its price is. When we think of how much effort goes into growing the grains and getting it to the table, we porbably refrain from throwing away the food so easily.

With people getting more educated , the wisdom is somewhere vanishing.
