Short ride to a thousand year old town
So i really wanted to go out that weekend and i had already spent a day at my hometown hubli. Avani came up my mind "a really small town which was once the capital of 10th century nolamba dynasty". without haste i book my bus back to Bangalore.
After trying hard to leave the bed, we finally got dressed and started by 9 a.m. Pretty late but the weather was so kind to us, it bestowed upon a good sunshine, clouds, no rain and cool weather on 4th August 2019. Having breakfast on the way, by 12p.m we reached the most famous spot of avani:
Ramalingeshwara group of temples
You can find more details about the temple through google. so in this blog, i would like to restrict myself more to the pictures.
The divergence we take from the highway to get to the temples is pretty good.
CAUTION: This road is inhibited by the farmers and fields. You will find snakes, chickens on the way and I would suggest to keep the speed low to not to kill them :)
As usual, the love for doors :) :)
