Book review - Mahashweta by Sudha Murty
As an avid reader of the books written by Sudha Murty, this one is a classic example that reflects her thought process, her simplicity and her headstrong character.
The book starts with introduction to a beautiful young lady who is highly springing person. It later manuvers through series of events in Anupama's life and how she comes to a turn where she had to decide whether to take away her own life or stay alive and achieve something in life.
It shows the harsh face of society and how Anupama thrives through all this and also emerges successful human being just because of her determination.
The character stands as an epitome of wisdom. WHen thrown with challenges in my real life, at times my thought process also lead me to think what would Anupama do if she was given this situation of mine. i feel proud to say, this also gave me some answers in my life and this book is small yet full of positivity!
written in a very simple usage of words, explained chirp clear and the story flows flawless like silk.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and got interested in buying more novels by Sudha Murty besides her short story books.
