Handmade valentine greeting card..:D

Hi all,

I had done this greeting some weeks ago and completely forgot about it.This card is exclusively made for the blog post. I am posting this valentine greeting card today. Although its late but probably you will love the idea of this craft-piece.

Materials used:
This section can generally be filled by anything you find around you at you home. Here is list of things used by me:
1. Big white card sheet ( that school children use)
2. Sketch pens ( usually for outlines)
3. crayons ( usually to fill colors in a big area)
4. Normal scissors and zigzag scissors ( I used zigzag scissors to cut the edges of thin long strip of paper)
5. Birthday bow strip ( I have used white strip with red dots)
6. Stickers of your choice or small hearts with wordings written over them for decoration

Use a rectangular piece of card-sheet folded in the mid-section to form a greeting card like structure.

This is how the top/front of the greeting looks like:

And this is how you open the greeting.

This is how it looks inside. A girl is drawn and colored in a separate sheet. This is cut out in a random fashion. The cut out of the girl is then pasted inside the card.

Now you have to take another long strip of paper. I used zig-zag scissor to cut its edges which gives a good look unlike plain edges. Then this strip is folded in a zigzag way and is pasted over the girl as shown.

Now you draw the hands over the girl such that it looks as if she is  holding that piece of paper in her hands.
This is how the pasted strip looks like from the side view.

And write your wishes inside this long zigzig folded strip of paper..

More close up shot ..

Done...!!
I hope you enjoyed this post. I would like to post more depending on the festivals/ events coming up in the calender. Check out more in the same blog space.
Have a wonderful day..!!
