Kyla was on her periods. Into the quiet night, room dimmed with warm light, she crawled into the bed and said to Sharon " I want to have a quiet morning". They looked at their son sleeping onthe floor bed, they looked at each other and laughed. 

They nestled into each other arms and fell asleep.
