For the people who have all the time in the world, settle down with a coffee to hear a story.. :D

It all started when the other day I asked this friend of mine if he would like to go out with me. He would definitely say yes not because he would get a hot girl to be with but because he is a gentleman and knows how to maintain friendship. We booked zoomcar even though the budget was overshooting with almost 5k for 1 day car rental on a weekend, just because I wanted to get out of the city so desperately.

The car was delivered ontime as promised promptly at 4.30 am in front of my friend's home. He quickly picked me from my home and we started. After a lot of embarrassments, taunts turning into tantrums every time I missed to tell him the turns from GPS, he concluded I could be the worst Google map reader on the earth.  I wouldn't accept it though because I know very well I am good at maps and I also very well know how much I can be distracted when he wanted to hear some psych stories from me along the way.

Leaving at 5 am, we some how managed to reach Rangantittu bird scentuary by 8 am heading straight to the breakfast at small canteen near the park. I was more excited about the accent of Kananda that the Mysore guys where speaking in the hotel and my friend was as much excited about the dosa he was eating and the girls who where walking around. We finally finished and went to the ticket counter.

As anywhere in the rest of the world, as a loyalty to the human race every guy and a girl together are seen as couples or friends with benefits. We both, where only friends who where being viewed as couples and it was rather seemed funny to me. The counter guy tried to persuade my friend to get 1.5k/half an hour ticket for the boating at the Kaveri back waters . I burst out into laughter, the ticket guy seemed a little annoyed at my audacity but my friend paid 100 rupee and bought two tickets to be a small part of big group on the boat.

Even though I had done a few boating tours before this was very different. As all the birds where in their hyper active mode, I concluded mornings and evenings are the best time to take bird tours. Wide winged pelicans flying right above the head, all sized crocodiles with their mouth open every few meters, painted storks sexily showing off their pink colors, you being surrounded by quiet waters below, greens trees around, huge birds all around you flying, sitting, shitting, feeding the babies was rather a very enthusiastic feeling.

Though I was scared to see lack of any emergency rescue in case the boat topples, it amazes how we believe in our assumptions that we gonna have a long long life. I was busy showing off my photography skills to myself just to learn I took pathetic pictures after the end of boat drive. I sat there on the shore, as if I was lost into a lost world and my friend pathetically failing to make me laugh.

I decided. I am gonna risk it all. I am gonna go another boat ride, this time all cameras off. We went, again and this time: fewer birds, fewer crocodiles around us due to hot sun, but more memories in the brain. Cameras and mobile phones have solved our communication problems but have given birth to stupidity and psychological problems.

After quick boat ride of 15 min, we where strolling in the surrounding park. Every corner of it was filled with couples trying to do/talk/touch something which me and my friend went one by one guessing what must have been cooking between them. Its funny how your single life can suck sometimes but accepting it as a part of life's journey shows the brighter side of being single.

We went ahead to Balmuri falls where I went frenzy over the fact that I can swim safely here. Water is like love of my life. I forget everything wen I see waters and I also forgot that I told my friend I will be back in half an hour. Poor guy was sitting in the car, strolling along the shore, strolling inside the shore, watched ladies in the water, also watching that nobody will trouble me in the water infested with young boys. Poor lad, I love my friend and he gained a little more respect from me after this. Finally after swimming from 12 am to 1.30 pm I had to come out when my friend started threatening me publicly that he would leave me and go if I don't stop my water play.

We then visited Ranganatha temple, saw that our zoom car fuel indicator had a near death experience with not showing any numbers, we filled it with 300 rupee petrol and entered into the mahaan traffic of Namma Bengaluru to quickly lose our temper amongst thousands of car on the road like us trying to reach nowhere.

I got called as "Attige" (bhaabi) from my tour guide in Shrirangapattana, I was fuming this time and my friend burst into laughter big time this time.

All pics taken by me BOSS :D Some more pics loading soon...
